Will my grass get damaged renting a wet slide?

Your grass should not be damaged due to simply renting a water slide, but you should take precautions to ensure there is no lasting changes.

Here's a few steps you can take to ensure your grass stays in tip top shape:

Only leave your water hose on for the misting hose during the time that kids will be playing on the water slide. You do not need to have it on full blast for the slides to be slippery. Running the water hose for 8 to 12 hours will mean water filling your backyard increasing the chance of damage to your yard. Limit the use of the water slide for the time of the party, especially if you know your yard doesn't have the best drainage.

Have an entrance and exit plan. Mud may accumulate due to kids exiting and entering the water slide. Have a plan for kids to enter/exit the bounce house from a dry location or possibly a towel or tarp. If you notice mud accumulating alert the kids to enter/exit from another side of the slide or to be careful.

Muddy paths to where the inflatable will be setup should be taken in to consideration. Please note that when renting an inflatable the path to where the inflatable will be setup may include muddy grass. Transporting the inflatable to where it will be setup will be on dollies with wheels that may damage muddy grass. Please make sure to turn off water sprinklers the day before your party if you suspect you will not have dry grass areas leading to where the inflatable will be setup. Always try to choose a location that will be the driest for the water to soak in to.

If an inflatable collapses, exit children and check the electrical breaker. Most times the breaker will turn off from too much power. If Wind speeds exceed 15mph turn the inflatable off and exit the inflatable. Supervision is required at all times

Before renting an inflatable, call 811 to have water lines flagged. Only allow us to setup away from sprinkler lines. We are not responsible for damage to sprinkler lines, especially after staking inflatables down to the ground where you ask.

Gate entrances must be 3.5ft wide or larger for most inflatables. We are not responsible for damage to gates that are severely rusted or rotting during transportation of the inflatable. We are not responsible for damage to grass during transportation or normal use of an inflatable.
