How are your inflatables cleaned and disinfected?
We understand how important it is that every bounce house we deliver needs to be clean. This is why we want to be detailed in explaining our 4 step cleaning process to assure you that renting a bounce house from us will be a safe experience.
Our 3 Step Cleaning Process
Step 1
First we vacuum all grass and leaves from each inflatable. We use shop vacs to achieve this.
Step 2
Next we wash away all dirt & mud with soapy water. This process is very similar to what you might observe washing a car.
Step 3
Our next step is to use an EPA approved disinfectant for combatting Covid-19. The name of the disinfectant we use is Simple Green Pro D 5 cleaner and Simple Green Pro 3. Both these products have demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-2019) which helps to eliminate 99.9% of germs. We apply this product to anywhere someone might have come in contact with clean towels. This includes netting, pillars, floors, sliding surfaces, pop-up crawlers, steps, and handles.
New: As of April 5th, 2020 all employees are wearing masks and disposable gloves during cleaning and delivery/pick up.
Our Commitment to Our Employees and Customers
We understand the great responsibility that we’re taking on as an essential business during a time of crisis. Our employees are following the most aggressive safety precautions to ensure safety for all during the COVID-19 pandemic. We’re continuing to make efforts to support our front-line teams.
Over the last 13 years, we have maintained extremely high standards for cleaning, but we’ve followed the CDC’s recommendations, as well as OSHA’s guidance on preparing the workplace for COVID-19, to increase those measures. We are committed to maximizing the safety of our team and customers and minimize the spread of Coronavirus in our communities:
All trucks are wiped down inside and outside before and after every delivery. This includes door handles, steering wheels, dashboards, seatbelts, dollies, hand tools.
Hand-washing stations have been placed at all Sky High Party Rentals locations, where employees are required to wash hands before entering a vehicle, a Sky High building, as well as hand sanitizer available for delivery teams.
All surfaces and commonly handled components are wiped down at least twice daily. This includes door handles, desks, drawers, phones, light switches, keyboards/mice, toilets, faucets and countertops.
Dispatch times are strategically staggered to avoid overlap of team members in the warehouses.
Sky High Party Rentals will wear gloves on all deliveries services and dispose of them promptly after.
All contracts will be signed online in advance whenever possible.
Sky High Party Rentals Gyms and Computer Labs are closed until further notice.
Sky High Party Rentals high fives are no longer an acceptable greeting. Team members and customers will be asked to abide by the recommended 6 ft distance between people whenever possible.
There is zero tolerance for a sick employee to be dispatched or remain at work.
We are keeping our team safe and/or supporting their decisions to stay home.
Sky High Party Rentals management is working tirelessly to support our team members in the offices, warehouses and on the front lines. We want to provide jobs to those who need it and we want to be able to help people who are in a position where they need to have some fun with their family members. At the same time, we are working closely with all administrative employees who want to work remotely, or those who wish to leave the job and return to their positions at a later date.
For our employees who remain on the job: We have separated work stations to minimized physical contact. All Call Center and Lobby employees are at least 6 ft. apart.
Social distancing
We have divided our labor force into “Delivery Teams”, to ensure that the same team is using the same truck and minimizing exposure among other employees. No more than 10 team members will be at our shop at one time.
Our Efforts to Support the Community
In addition to bounce houses we have been helping our community by delivering drive-through tents to many area schools that are providing food to students during their recent closure periods. We also are delivering generators, tables, chairs, and cooling fans to community planning sites all across the state. We are very thankful especially to The City of Houston who granted us an exception during the Stay Home, Work Safe Order to continue working and providing equipment to our valued customers.
We are open for business to take all orders for any of our items. Thank you!
